Allen Francisco
Allen Francisco was born May 20, 1825, in Shelby County, Illinois. He was the first recorded white child born in that county. He died near Prescott, Arkansas on December 22, 1902.
Allen was a Federal soldier in the War between the states. The records of Adjutant General's Office, War Department, Washington, D.C., list the following: “The records of this office show that Allen Francisco was mustered into service September 4, 1862, at Alton, Illinois as 2nd Lieutenant, Company K, 126th Reg. Illinois Inf. and was honorably discharged June 2, 1863 by reason of the acceptance of his resignation, 2nd Lieutenant." The above record is that of the only Allen Francisco found on the roils of any Ill. Volunteer organization, which was mustered into the service of the United States during the period of the Civil War.
Allen Francisco was married four times, the first two occurring in Shelby County, and by these two only, he had children.
He was married 1st, Jan. 8, 1846 to Mary Tery (Doc. 6, 1825-July 6, 1851) by whom he had:

He was married 2nd Nov. 26, 1851 to Ellen Weller (Feb. 11, 1823- Dee, 10, 1890) by whom he had:

Allen Francisco and Ellen (Waller) Francisco were members of the Christian Church. They came to Nevada County, Arkansas in the Spring of 1881 and settled near Prescott on Prairie Deanne.
After Ellen W. Francisco's death, Allen Francisco married Demmie E. Gross (Oct.28, 1836-June 7, 1901) by whom he had no issue. He was married Nov. 1901 to Mollie Miller who was born May 3, 1866. Mollie Francisco died Aug. 4, 1941. Survived by one son, C.0. Miller. Two daughters: Viola Miller (Mrs. Carl King), Mamie Miller (Mrs. Charles Nelson) all by a former marriage.
